LG is a brand known for its technological innovations, unveiling its latest and greatest inventions every year at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The South Korean tech giant's investments into research, development, and state-of-the-art facilities is evident in its exciting electronic and appliance launches, many of which have been the first of their kind to hit the market in 2023. From an AI-enabled washing machine to the thinnest laptop on the market, here are LG's most impressive product launches of the year.

1. LG Gram SuperSlim
Earlier this year, LG unveiled the The LG Gram SuperSlim, the thinnest LG Gram ever and currently the thinnest laptop on the market today. It's a 15.6-inch laptop with an OLED display and an extremely lightweight build, measuring just 15 millimeters thick. In terms of portability, you can't beat it, and its processing speed is not to be underestimated either, with the latest 13th Gen Intel Core CPU.
$1,700 at LG2. LG 4K UHD CineBeam PU700R projector
LG introduced its latest addition to its CineBeam line of projectors, the PU700R, in May of this year. This super portable projector boasts 4K HDR resolution and a 1.2 throw ratio, which can produce images up to 120 inches wide with up to 1,000 ANSI lumens brightness. One of its coolest features is the rotating design that allows you to adjust your viewing angle up to 90 degrees. It's outfitted with Apple AirPlay and Screen Share, a built-in speaker and access to all the top streaming apps.

LG's ultra-wide, curved gaming displays are the top-tier gaming monitors in its UltraGear lineup. Both delivering an immersive gaming experience, advanced features and stellar picture quality, the LG UltraGear 45GR95QE, a 45-inch ultra-wide OLED monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, 800R curvature, and 0.03ms response time, and the LG UltraGear 49GR85DC, with 5120 x 1440 resolution, a 32:9 aspect ratio and 240Hz refresh rate, will serve as worthwhile upgrades to any home office or gaming setup.

Announced back in March, the LG XBOOM XL7 is a super powerful wireless speaker that will bring the bumping music and light show to any party. This oversized speaker features a built-in pixelated LED screen, karaoke and guitar inputs and a handle and wheels for ultimate portability. It's sure to provide fun times anywhere you go—just try not to upset the neighbors.
$600 at LG5. LG Smart Cam
If you own an LG smart TV, you'll want to check out the brand's new Smart Cam, which records video at a 1080p resolution, and works with a number of apps on LG’s proprietary smart platform, webOS, offering telehealth sessions, fitness and exercise classes, video conferencing and more. The Smart Cam is compatible with LG smart TVs running webOS 22 or 23.

1. DUOBO By LG Labs
The brand's first-ever capsule coffee machine, DUOBO by LG Labs, features a dual-capsule extraction system that allows for two-shot layered blending to create your own coffee flavor combinations. Its unique design resembles a space probe, with a built-in display display that will show animations and coffee-related information. It's currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter, and expected to launch later this year.

Just this month, LG unleashed the world's first wireless OLED TV, the 97-inch LG 97M3 Signature OLED M TV. Cable free besides a power cord, this first-of-its-kind TV works with a transmitter box that can be placed up to 30 feet away and beams video and audio to the TV. It's not shipping out just yet, but its expected to hit the US market in a few months (priced at a whopping $30,000).

LG is starting to leverage AI functionality in its appliances, including in the new LG 2023 VIVACE 11kg Washing Machine, which is expected to be available for purchase in late 2023. Outfitted with AI technology that can detect fabrics and optimize the wash cycle accordingly, this addition to LG's washing machine range is sure to be a game-changer. It also boasts a large 11kg drum capacity, along with LG Steam technology, which can eliminate up to 99.9% of allergens.
